Meet Tyron Cannell

Tyron (he/him) is our Incubation Program Officer.

Meet Tyron, a proud Darwin local with deep roots in a local Darwin Aboriginal family on his grandmothers side and a connection to Papua New Guinea on his grandfathers side.

Raised in Darwin, his life has been a journey of cultural immersion, from family ties to various work and sports platforms. With a background in the mining industry working for the management of mining on Aboriginal lands, Tyron found his passion and understanding of working with Indigenous people and their lands to work through some of the issues that arise in communities.

His overarching goal is to drive transformative change within these communities, focusing on creating a better future for the next generation.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Tyron's loves sports, especially Rugby league.
